We study Marxism-Leninism-Maoism.When MASS was established in the fall of 2024, it emerged organically as an effort to redistribute food in the spirit of forging community connections outside the capitalist system. After the first day of breaking bread with our neighbors, it was natural to continue the program weekly. We haven’t missed a Saturday distro since.
Much more than community building, however, our primary goal is to achieve an egalitarian world that provides the basic necessities of life to every person. Filling our neighbors’ bellies every Saturday is a symbol of our solidarity with one another, but it fails to address the systemic inequalities in housing, education, employment, and healthcare, to name a few.
THESE PROBLEMS CAN ONLY BE ADDRESSED BY A SOCIALIST REVOLUTION
The only resolution to the fundamental inequalities in our work is mobilization toward class struggle. On one side of this struggle are the capitalists, whose collective goal is to squeeze every dime from the working class for the sole purpose of hoarding wealth. On the other are you and I, the people, the proletariat. Our unifying hopes are for better pay and working conditions, more leisure time, and an end to capitalist exploitation. In order to achieve liberation from the ruling class whose very existence is dependent on our suffering, we must organize toward revolution.
We continue our weekly distro as our the main avenue for growing our network of comrades, without whom it would be impossible to extend our work to active State resistance.
