THE COMMITMENTS, VALUES, AND VISIONS THAT GUIDE OUR WORK

SCIENTIFIC SOCIALISM
We believe that capitalism is a cancerous system of domination based on exploitation. The rich will not share their wealth if we ask nicely. Liberation can only be achieved through socialist revolution.

EMPLOYMENT & INCOME
The ruling class withholds employment from the lowest class to drive the rest of us to work for less and less. Every person deserves the opportunity to contribute to their community through work, just as every person deserves the basic income required to support their livelihood.

FOOD
The capitalist system uses the threat of food insecurity to force the people into wage slavery. Food is a necessity for life, and we want a society that guarantees healthy and delicious food for all.

HOUSING
If the capitalist class will not provide housing fit for the shelter of human beings, we will take that responsibility upon ourselves. Together, we will build a world where everyone is guaranteed housing that is safe, community-controlled, and well-maintained.

CLOTHING
We demand affordable clothing that is comfortable and accessible to all people. Clothes today are made as cheaply as possible to maximize profit. Under scientific socialism, all clothing will be durable and made for wearing, not for profit.

HEALTHCARE
Only the rich can afford healthcare. The masses are forced to choose between crushing debt and life-saving medication, and Black and indigenous people face a racist medical system. We want an immediate end to insurance corporations, and free, accessible, and equitable healthcare for all people.

COMMUNITY CONTROL OF POLICE
Police are armed agents of the state that protect only the rich and their property. They are an occupying force, especially in Black and poor communities. We want community control of police so the people can collectively define safety.

INTERNATIONALISM
We do not limit our focus and energy to the imperial core (USA). The vanguard of global revolution is the oppressed Global South from whom we should take guidance and inspiration. We are for international socialism and liberation for all.

LAND BACK
The USA is a genocidal settler colony that has wreaked havoc on the world for centuries. We follow the lead of our Black and indigenous comrades to decolonize this land under the principles of international socialism.

DIRECT GOVERNANCE
The USA is a democracy for the rich. The masses of the people have no say in foreign policy, government spending, nor the law. We want a government by and for the people.
